Week 5 Parsley Oil

Infused oils


Parsley infused oil


Ingredients:

Bunch of Parsley

Pinch of salt

Water

Oil

Blender

Coffee filter or cheesecloth



  1. Prepare ice bath in bowl, set aside

  2. Bring water with pinch of salt to a boil in pot

  3. Place parsley in boiling water to blanch for 10 seconds

  4. Take the Parsley out and place in ice bath

  5. Place blender, and add the parsley to the blender, pour oil in and blend

  6. Place a filter of choice over container and pour out the blended oil and Parsley

  7. After it has strained through, pour the oil into a safe proof airtight container. Store and use for decorative purposes or adding flavor to cooking
