Week 3 Fermented Red Onions

Fermenting red onions


Ingredients: red onion, water, vinegar, sugar, salt, peppercorn, saucepan


  1. Slice the red onions and place in a heat - proof container with the peppercorn

  2. Take a saucepan and bring the water, vinegar, sugar, and salt to a boil, take off heat

  3. Pour the mixture slowly over the red onions till all are covered

  4. Wrap up the red onions and store for few months
